Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, founded in the mid-1950s and located in the charming town of Chapel Hill is the only perpetual care cemetery in Orange County. The town is the home of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the nation's oldest state university, with a rich history of more than two centuries.

Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens is one of only a select number of cemeteries in the country - and the only one in the Triangle - to offer Green Burial, the oldest, most natural and least ecologically disruptive form of burial. Green burial was revived for those who choose to live an environmentally sustainable life, and prefer to leave the earth that way as well.

Traditional burial options include private estates, lawn crypts, traditional ground burial, and cremation niches. We can also create private gardens for your church or civic organization.

Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens is a perpetual care cemetery, like all Landquest Legacy Gardens. As a perpetual care cemetery, we have established an irrevocable trust fund for the maintenance and care of our grounds and buildings. Perpetual care offers our families the peace of mind that the final resting place of their loved one will always be maintained.
